Literary webseries Classic Alice is thrilled to announce that it has surpassed one million views on its YouTube channel. The show’s new season premiered earlier this month; new episodes (60 and counting!) appear on the channel on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. PDT. To celebrate this exciting million view milestone, Classic Alice is offering its viewers an all-new transmedia experience – including a piece that arrives in the mail at no cost to the fans – as a special thank you from the show! Sign-ups are open through July 3rd at 12 p.m. PDT.
Classic Alice, from Kate Hackett Productions in association with award-winning producer Alexis Edelman and her company Bam!PRODUCED., is the story of college student Alice Rackham (creator/star Kate Hackett), who makes life decisions according to the actions of characters in classic literature – and deals with the fallout in her life and relationships. The show combines twice-weekly video episodes with an immersive transmedia experience to engage thousands of fans and prompt them to think and talk about books in new ways.
If you haven’t watched Classic Alice yet, it’s a great time to start! You can catch up on the show from the beginning in just a few hours via this playlist, or experience the episodes and in-world transmedia together on the Narrative page. Then check back every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m. PDT for new episodes.
