Creator Robert Lopez wanted to do more than just make a web series, he hoped to make a difference. By bringing subjects such as schizophrenia, bi-polar, and obsessive compulsive disorders into a world that turns these diseases into unimaginable abilities, a more conscious and compassionate society might emerge.
“We’ve crowd funded for each episode … We raised somewhere in the neighborhood of $9,000 for episode eight, $15,000 for episode six, and $8,000 for episode five, so it just kind of varies.” Obviously they’re doing something right.
