“A film I was in was accepted into the Short Film Corner at Cannes,” Howard recalls. “I had the opportunity to talk to producers, directors and other film professionals that I was otherwise isolated from while acting on set, and they all encouraged that if I had an idea, that I run with it.”

Goldenberg became a Youtube star in 2006 when he posted a series of videos that featured the young actor/comedian attempting to put lyrics to some of cinema’s most memorable (and solely instrumental) film scores. Frustrated at the lack of major comedic roles available to him, he jumped at the chance to create a web series that would display his comedic talents and his abilities as an actor.
Finding a creative partner can be a lot like dating – for creators Tarah Consoli and Elliot Joseph their own chance meeting served as a basis for the series they would create.
“Mostly, we would just tell each other all the dumb things we’ve ever said or done for/to someone we cared about. Then as we cried into each other’s arms, we would mold the episodes from there and I would think about seeing a therapist,” creator Eric Goldberg on the show’s writing process.
Lovers moving in together is ripe with situational humor, and for creators Kate Bowen and David Scott it made sense as the perfect setting to work together in.
Described by its creator and star Luke Anthony as a “road sign guide to sex”, READ THE SIGNS is set to premiere its first season of 8 episodes in March of 2014
