Last night on the Super Geeked Up show Jeff Burns announced the nominees for the 2015 IAWTV Awards and you can see the full list of nominees here.

Females have been dramatically under represented in the media’s portrayal of geek culture, and among television show leads as well. AP Life looks to fill in both of those gaps with it’s largely female cast of geeky characters.

We’ve heard from countless young people telling us that the show has given them the courage to come out. Some have even told us they might not be alive today if it weren’t for finding the courage OUT WITH DAD gave them. I don’t think I can express how such a thing can make you feel.

Season 2 of the hit drama continues the story of a group of upper class teenagers who live by their own rules while hitting the books at Southern California’s prestigious Westfield Prep high school.
