For creator Aaron Garcia his vision was grand, and his budget non-existent. Rather than give up, his focus turned to what he could do, rather than what he couldn’t. The result is a prequel to his envisioned season one and a production that spanned two years.
This week I was treated to some real meat and potatoes, a show that calls itself a love story and which is able to deliver upon the deeper complexities of what that word actually means.
The best writing is always personal, and it’s those personal stories that have the chance to take viewers places that are very original yet human, and relatable.
I’m getting the impression that a lot of you out there hold the belief that problems are best solved by killing… or at least this is the second series I’ve seen where the main characters shared that line of reasoning.
I’m not entirely sure how to describe what exactly ‘Real Adult Feelings’ is about, which probably has something to do with the fact that I don’t really know exactly what ‘Real Adult Feelings’ is about.

It’s all a sort of mix of acting, role-playing, sporting and highbrow nerdiness. It’s very much akin to a Civil War reenactment, but more like reenacting the battle of Helm’s Deep, or the latest battle you fought in DnD.
When talking about Mythos it’s hard for me not to gush about the prolific crew member and boom operator extraordinaire Miriam Pultro who happens to have also starred, written and directed the series.
This week I watched a puppet show that featured MURDERRRRRR!!!!! Also I think Block Head was stoned the whole time … he even ate the script.
