Vancouver Web Fest is just 7 days away, taking place May 2nd – May 4th at Imperial Vancouver.

The full weekend schedule has been released and features viewing blocks, panels and entertainment details. Panels include topics Distribution and Financing Beyond YouTube, Business and Legal, and Navigating Your Way Through Social Media & Building an Audience.

FRIDAY MAY 2ND  (7pm-1am)

Pre-launch Networking Party featuring live entertainment with John Spiby, Rachael Chatoor and MC Comedian Morgan Brayton.                                                                                                                                   

SATURDAY MAY 3RD (9am-1am)

All day web series screenings, panels with industry experts. Q&A’s with web series creators, Producers and Directors. All screenings and panels will be moderated and MC’d by local celebrities. The night will wind up with a live performance by Vancouver’s “The True Heroines” and a karaoke party hosted by producer Ryan Catherwood. (Cash bar and refreshments available throughout the weekend).

SUNDAY MAY 4TH  (9am-Midnight)

Web screenings and panel all day. Naomi Priestley and ‘Jackie O’ from web series ‘Shoot the Shit’ will be filming an episode about VWF2014 festivities. 6:30pm: Doors Open / Red Carpet. 8:00pm: Award Ceremony

Gala hosted by Lori Triolo and David Lewis.  9:30pm: After party featuring live music by Kentish Steele and The Shantelles. Optional Dress Code – dressy, high fashion.
